Classic Cutting I

Learn the techniques and disciplines that provide the foundation of all other cutting techniques to build your confidence and personal style.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of Classic Cutting I. Add to the techniques and skills learned in Classic Cutting I. Provide the foundation for your creative work in the future. Also great for refreshing skills and motivation.

Prerequisite: In-salon Introduction to salon color brand (Level I). Gain a complete understanding and take the guesswork out of hair color. Review the categories of color, brands, and formulation. Color correction theory and hands-on, swatch workshop.

Prerequisite: Absolute Color (Level II). Review classic color techniques and tips. Learn new techniques and current color trends.

The Art of Long Hair

Establish yourself as a premier provider of exquisite long hair design for all occasions. Master the technical fundamentals of long hair design in this comprehensive course.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of Classic Cutting I & Classic Cutting II. Set the trends and take client service to optimum level in this ever-evolving class. Apply and interpret the technical fundamentals as a basis for originals designs, and explore leading-edge cutting and finishing techniques.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of Classic Cutting I & Classic Cutting II. Cutting workshops of New Collections presented and taught by our Creative Team or recognized artist in the industry.

Prerequisite: Minimum % of color sales, completion of Absolute Color and Color Techniques or equivalent. For stylists who exemplify excellence in their careers and have excelled in the art of hair color.

Set yourself apart and become an American Board Certified Hair colorist. This five-day (approximately one day per month), hands-on program is offered annually and will prepare you for the certification examination.

Sharpen your skills for men’s hair cutting by mastering the necessary techniques to build speed with clippers, razors and shears, and accomplish even the shortest of men’s haircuts. Learn techniques for hairlines, masculine shapes and styles and, finishing.

Hone all your finishing skills, including blow drying, curling, flat ironing and more.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of Classic Cutting I. Learn the correct methods of razor cutting to achieve current hair trends and focus on ways to alter texture with cutting and styling tools
